Martin Smith "You Have Shown Us" for Micah Challenge
Well here it is, an exclusive live performance by Martin Smith , formerly of Delirious, . I was chuffed to have the opportunity to meet and work with Martin, and to deliver this video in support of Micah Challenge's 101010 campaign.
The first minute is a message from Martin supporting the campaign, shot on the Sony V1. The exclusive live performance, shot on the Canon 7D, kicks in around 1m 10s. This was my first time shooting with the 7D and I was really excited. I'd heard great things about it and I'm pleased to say it lived up to expectations. I love the depth of field and the feel of the image it gives. Safe to say I'll be using it again.
Enjoy the video!

New commission! Martin Smith (Delirious) for Micah Challenge
Small Seed Films has been commissioned by Micah Challenge International to film an exclusive performance by Martin Smith, lending his considerable weight to the 10.10.10 campaign for global justice.
I'm really excited by this! I've been a fan of Martin's previous work with his band Delirious? and it will be a privilege to work with him. Micah Challenge are planning to use this exclusive performance video as part of their scheme to mobilise 100 million people around the world to act for justice on 10th October, 2010. This is something I can really get behind. Do check out their website here .
On top of all that, the video will also be a great opportunity to use Canon's remarkable 7D HDSLR camera... something I've been wanting to do since it was released. Bring on the beautiful depth-of-field!
